Kindergarten Celebration

Today, Lucas' teacher had a celebration for the kids. They don't do a graduation, but she felt they deserved something. She is by far one of the best teacher's I have ever met! I hope Lucas has many more just as caring as she is. Anyway, she got together a play for the kids to work on. It was about a little red hen and each of the kids wore hats to make them look like little chicks. There were songs and each student was given lines to read. It was so sweet. And on top of that, she had a little reception afterwards with treats and drink.


Then she gave a little speech that was so touching. It showed how much she truly loves her job and working with them. Lucas is going to miss her so much, but she gave a bag of gifts to each of the kids and included was her address, so that her students can keep in touch!


Here is a picture of the whole class. Lucas will miss them very much next year now that he will be attending a different school. But we all know Lucas, he will make more friends!
